Exploring the Veluwe: A Successful Familiarisation Trip for International Tour Operators
This February, we had the pleasure of hosting an exciting familiarisation trip in the stunning Veluwe region of the Netherlands. A select group of 22 tour operators from Belgium, the UK, Germany, and Switzerland joined us for a memorable three-day, two-night adventure, aimed at showcasing the best the Veluwe has to offer.
Our participants had the chance to explore some of the most beautiful and historic locations in the region, including the charming city of Arnhem, the Kröller-Müller Museum, Paleis Het Loo, Castle Doorwerth, and the Dutch Open-Air Museum— all located in and around the breathtaking National Park Hoge Veluwe.
Networking & Collaboration Opportunities
One of the key elements of the trip was the many networking opportunities, which allowed our guests to connect with industry professionals and exchange ideas. A standout moment was our successful partner event, where attendees had the chance to network with leading players in the tourism sector. This not only made for great conversations but also opened doors for potential future collaborations.
Attendee Testimonials: A Resounding Success
The feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to explore the Veluwe region and meet like-minded professionals. One participant shared their experience, saying:
“It was a fantastic experience, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to explore the Veluwe, meet inspiring industry professionals, and discover all the beautiful locations. I look forward to staying in touch and hopefully collaborating in the future.”
We’ve received similar messages from others, and we are thrilled to report that the familiarisation trip was a resounding success. The connections made, the experiences shared, and the passion for the Veluwe region were all key factors in making this event such a memorable one.
Looking Forward to Future Collaborations
The success of this familiarisation trip strengthens our commitment to showcasing the Veluwe and many other areas the Netherlands has to offer, in addition to connecting international tour operators with the unique offerings from our partners. We’re excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, from potential collaborations to continued promotion.
We would like to thank all our guests for their participation, and we look forward to welcoming more international tour operators to the Netherlands and the Veluwe in the future. Stay tuned for more opportunities to explore the wonders of the Netherlands!
