You can do this by looking around yourself, but also by experiencing the Experience Tours according to the Escaperoom concept, in order to discover history more closely in an interactive way. In addition, as a group you can experience much more in this museum, such as unique packages that are suitable for every group composition. For example, we provide senior groups with a reception with coffee and Liberation Cake according to WWII family recipe, interactive tours of the museum and original liberation images from 1945 in our 1940s Cinema-Theatre Hall. For groups such as families, groups of friends and schools, we provide unforgettable activities with an educational twist, such as the WWII Storm Boats Paddle Competition, a tour along WWII Monuments in real WWII Truck vintage cars and the Old Dutch games competition, which they also did in the past to commemorate the liberation. celebrate. Every year we can also provide lunch and/or a 3-course buffet for a few hundred group packages, which we prepare using Live Cooking in original WWII Field Kitchens.

Discover the ‘Road to Freedom’ by stepping into ‘the shoes’ of a soldier with this Experience Tour and experience unknown, but very important operations that were necessary for our freedom today!
You will help ‘Jimmy Spencer’ check the cargo that had to be transported to the 3 million soldiers on the Western Front and discover why we know almost nothing about this very important operation due to exclusion. You will also learn all about emergency bridges and the Combat Engineers who made these ‘literal’ bridges to freedom and you will complete several missions alone or with your group. This Experience Tour went live in 2022, the many tens of thousands of visitors and hundreds of groups that have already done it were amazed by this unknown history and the way they experienced it interactively.

You will decipher code sentences from Radio-Oranje, look for the secret passage, engage in black barter in the grocery store, discover the hiding place of the radio and discover the hidden attic.
