Stromma Netherlands: Your host in Amsterdam

Stromma has become a familiar face on Amsterdam canals, with a diverse and sustainable fleet. After all, we have been sailing since 1912. With our canal boats, open boats, pedal boats and authentic saloon boat, we offer “memories for life” to over 1.5 million guests annually. But we also offer excursions in the Netherlands, sell souvenirs and have a wide range of special group arrangements.

Our roots are in Sweden: Stromma Netherlands is part of the Swedish Stromma Group, provider of sightseeing experiences in Northern Europe. Think of tours, entertainment and activities for tourists, residents and businesses. Together, we now operate in 18 destinations in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Denmark and The Netherlands.

As a company, we believe that sustainable tourism is important. Thus, we work to reduce our use of fossil resources, procure and use raw materials with the best possible environmental performance whenever possible. We measure this continuously and strive to improve our performance. Stromma Netherlands has the Green Key certificate, the official and international quality mark for corporate social responsibility. Our aim is to have the entire fleet running on electricity by 2025. Today, part of the fleet is already electric!

Your event on the Amsterdam canals

We have lots to offer for companies and groups. For example, let yourself and your company drift along on an open boat while you enjoy a snack and drink. Or organize a day of team building with a pedal boat package or a meeting combined with entertainment on the canals. We have special ‘event ships’ that can be flexibly equipped for any type of event. From an interior with standing tables to a ship with cozy seating, our fleet is suitable for both a cruise with 20 business contacts and a large event with 1000 people.
